Thus you believe that you can change what you see by putting little bits of glass before your eyes.

This is among the many magical beliefs that come from the conviction you are a body, and the body’s eyes can see.

“Miracles are seen in light, and light and strength are one.” W. P-92

We believe we are a body with eyes that can see and the brain that  thinks.

This is no truer than puppets are able to see and think that they are real!

“It is God’s strength in you that is the light in which you see, as it is His Mind with which you think.” (3:1)

It is the weakened state of a confused mind that projects images, dark aspects of its sickly self, loneliness, fear, isolation, hunger, and emptiness; unable to evoke any true happiness.

The blackness of despair blinds the mind from seeing the light of truth.

Look past the frightening apparitions, focus upon light; memory of the true self awakens intrinsic power, divine strength. 

There are no limitations to this light, simply ask the Holy Spirit for guidance. 

“It unites with light, of which it is a part. It sees itself.

It brings the light in which your Self appears.” (4:3-5)

Even though the mind is unable to perceive this constant light of strength; the light of truth, much like pure love it is given freely to all; the One Self.

“Its strength is shared, that it may bring to all the miracle in which they will unite in purpose and forgiveness and in love.” (5:7)
