You have regarded the separation as a means for breaking your Communication with your Father. ACIM T-14:VI.5:1-2

“The Holy Spirit reinterprets it as a means of re-establishing what was not broken,

but has been made obscure.” (5:2)

Unbeknown to the mind, we have constant communication with the Creator. The mind is not aware because this Holy communication is buried beneath layers of false beliefs.

This is why it is so important to always engage with the Holy Spirit, so that the mind can learn how to proceed in removing layers of obstructive ego interference.  Only then, will the Creator’s voice be heard.

The Holy Spirit is aware of false beliefs severing our connection with the creator, knowing emphatically that this bond has not been broken.

 A mental choice was made to use the power of decision instead of the power of creation, resulting in imprisonment within a delusional reality.

Having used the power of decision to crucify and isolate oneself from the Creator, the mind now needs to learn how to use decisions in restoring oneness.

True communication is impossible. Words are symbols of symbols, causing misinterpretations and confusion.

Still within this mishmash practice of meager attempts in expressing ourselves, within this failed communication “there is enough love                             to make it meaningful if its Interpreter is not its maker.”

“All things you made have use to Him, for His most holy purpose. He knows you are not separate from God, but He perceives much in your mind that lets you think you are.” (5:3-4)

The Holy Spirit corrects and realigns decisions with the truth of a divine plan.

Rather than expressing guilt and fear by attacking, the Holy Spirit releases you to express intrinsic unconditional love.

“Leave what you would communicate to Him.

He will interpret it to you with perfect clarity, for He knows with Whom you are in perfect communication.” (6:6-7)

Without protection of obscurity only the light of love remains, for only this has meaning and can live in light. Everything else must disappear. ACIM T-14.VI.3:7

There is no value in repressing fears or guilt; it does nothing to keep the mind safe, or unsafe, serving no purpose at all.

They are illusionary!

Remove its power to torment you; stop sheltering it from the light of truth.

You have nothing to lose except fear itself and so much freedom and love to gain.

 It is not possible to be guiltless while holding onto guilt, this causes great confusion.

They cannot co-exist; they cancel each other; pick one!

Only one (guiltlessness) means anything, the other is utterly absurd.

“The light of guiltlessness shines guilt away because, when they are brought together, the truth of one must make the falsity of its opposite perfectly clear.” (4:2)

 By accepting a truth that the Son of God, which all of us are collectively, is eternally innocent, guilt can then be released into the nothingness from which it came.

Only the light of love, our essence, remains, the only thing of immense value, eternally present, all else simply disappears.

“The birds of the air and the lilies of the field do nothing because God takes care of them. The sentinels of darkness do nothing (They do not protect; neither do they attack” because they are nothing.) (CE-T VIII-fn)

The journey that we undertake together is the exchange of dark for light, of ignorance for understanding. ACIM T-14.VI.1:1

It is not possible to fear what is understood because we already know its meaning.

Things that are unfamiliar cause a great deal of distress and worry, because its impact on our lives is still unknown. 

Keeping the unknown obscured, delays discovery of a hidden truth that could change life, as we know it.

Value is determined by the opinion of others.  Begin fearful of what is hidden; not being able to share it with others, makes it impossible to know if it has any worth.

An overactive imagination is the major cause of emotional despair driving fear further into the recesses of the mind. The longer it remains inconspicuous; it continues to be protected from exposure to the light of understanding; accumulating more power and life.

Perhaps there was a time when keeping the unknown hidden had value, served a purpose, but now is time to bring it into light of love.

 ‘What is kept apart from love cannot share its healing power, because it has been separated off and kept in darkness.

The sentinels of darkness watch over it carefully, and you who made these guardians of illusion out of nothing are now afraid of them.”

(2:4-5)

Dismiss the guards protecting darkness and ignorance keeping the mind frozen in a state of fear.

A divine light dwelling within the mind is always available, never hidden and never feared, patiently waiting to activate its healing power exposing all darkness brought into its essence.
