The study of the ego is not the study of the mind. ACIM.T-14.X.8:6

“In fact, the ego enjoys studying itself, and thoroughly approves the undertakings of students who would analyze it, thus approving its importance.”

( 8:7)

This refers to psychology, which is literally the study (logia) of the mind (psyche), modern (especially Freudian) psychology.

“Its point is that the ego has taken over the study of the mind making itself psychology’s teacher as well as its object of study. This is why Jesus says that psychology “is not the study of the mind”. – It has become the study of the ego.” CE.T-14.XI.7(33)

Everything in this reality is conceived by thoughts, which remain completely within the mind.

There is nothing outside of the mind.

A universe outside the mind, thought to be real, is simply an illusion.

Thoughts are energy in motion, self-less, pure loving thoughts are light; negative, angry, judgmental thoughts are dense.

A belief in an existence of a world of separation produces dense, heavy energy manifesting into forms. 

The brain, part of an imagined body falsely referred to as the mind, is the same as the rest of the body and everything else in this universe, void of any content, a complete empty shell.

"..When two or more join together in searching for truth, the ego can no longer defend its lack of content." (9:5-6)

The process of jointing is proof that the ego, a belief in a separate identity – cannot be true.

When an ego mind commences a study of beliefs and behaviors of the brain it is actually undertaking an analysis of itself, the ego mind.

It is impossible for it to identify or even attempt to comprehend the forces behind its thought process.  

The logic of ego’s endeavor is to conceal truth by providing counsel using academic analysis. 

Separately, the guidance appears to make sense but when applied, it lacks little if any logic or provides any workable solutions.

The power of God, and not of you, engenders miracles. The miracles itself is but the witness that you have the power of God in you. ACIM.T-14. X.6:9-10

 “To order is to judge, and to arrange by judgment.

Therefore it is not your function, but the Holy Spirit’s.” (5:9)

It is impossible for a fractured mind to judge any situation truthfully without having it filtered through personal emotional baggage.

Fractured minds learn through life lessons that their thoughts are corrupt.

It is impossible to be neutral; which is why we must turn to an impartial divine guide which knows our every need.

Every call for help is answered in the same way, without judgment and no order of importance; once confusion is recognized an appropriate response is given.

We may wonder how we can withdraw from judgment while immersed in a reality where its code of behavior is judgment.

Ego’s attachment to form along with having an extremely biased interpretation of content deems it incapable of perceiving anything in this reality truthfully.

The "dynamics" of ego are impossible for the split-mind to understand.

There are two categories of calls for help; "one of love, and the other the call for love."

“You cannot safely make this division, for you are much too confused either to recognize love, or to believe that everything else is nothing but a call for love.”

Every call for help activates the limitless power of God within;

Who sees no order of difficulty and responds to all equally." (7:2)

We are NEVER alone!

Precious Companions; To the Divine Mind thoughts hold no value, creating with love is its only function. 🙏💖

The Atonement does not make holy. You were created holy. It merely brings unholiness to holiness; or what you made to what you are. ACIM. T.14.IX.1:1

Bringing illusion to truth, or the ego to God, is the Holy Spirit’s only function. (1:2)

The practice of forgiveness will not make us holy.

It will release us from what we think we are and bring the mind back to its true nature, innate holiness.

Exposing illusions and recognizing truth is the Holy Spirit's function.

Our creations must be exposed for the illusions that they are. 

For denying this truth has cost us memory of our Creator and our true reality.

A decision was made to replace a reality of timelessness with a reality of time, included being something other than what we really are.

Truth was then quickly shuffled into the past and promptly forgotten, replaced by illusions permeating the present moment.

“And the past, too, was changed and interposed between what always was and now.

The past that you remember never was, and represents only the denial of what always was.” (1:9-10)

With passing of time the past is drastically misinterpreted and misrepresented, holding no truth of what always was and continues to be.

These falsities must be exposed to the light of truth.

What disappears when exposed to the light of truth, does so because it is not true.

 "Different realities are meaningless, for reality must be one. It cannot change with time or mood or change. Its changelessness is what makes it real. This cannot be undone. Undoing is for unreality.  And this reality will do for you." (2:6-11)
